Vitaly Shcherbo

Vitaly Shcherbo is a world-famous Belarusian gymnast. Considered one of the best gymnasts of all time.

He is the only man who became the world champion in all eight disciplines ─individual and team championships, as well as in six apparatuses.

At the Olympic Games in Barcelona in 1992, Shcherbo won 6 gold medals, he is the only one in history who has won 6 awards in one Games (excluding swimmers). 4 medals went to him on the same day, August 2, when the athlete excelled in the exercises on the rings, pommel horse, uneven bars and vault. In the same year, Shcherbo was awarded the Jesse Owens Prize as the best athlete of the year.
